Thank you to everyone who braved the cold and came out on Saturday. Thank you to the homeowners who came back out and join the Mary Mitchell afterschool in mulching and planting trees this week. We
mulched and planted bulbs in a total of 20 trees.
New Crotona Coalition will be continuing our a Plant- A-Thon the entire month of April.This is a great opportunity to transform your community and a great team building exercise. Please call me to schedule a date if you would like to join in the Plant-A-Thon fun. We have signs, seeds and bulbs, you can plant in new street trees in front of your school or join us in front of nearby apartment buildings. If you drive down 178th Street past the center you will see a big load of wood chips, so call and schedule your planting before supplies run out!
